Stage 14:Cholsey to Culham
Date:13/08/2003
Distance:14.5 miles
Conditions:Sunny - up to 24 degrees

The first relatively cool day for over a week - quite important as this was the longest stage to date. Having said that, I left home late again, so by the time I made the train (just!) I was already hot and sweaty despite it being only 8am. Despite it being a cooler day it still felt hot on the roads and open fields.

I met a couple of interesting people - including my Dad who joined me for lunch. It was also memorable for 2 pints plus my first chocolate (and first ice cream) for over a year. Very nice.
